Repost of an older comic to honor the passing of a legend today. When my mom would put on her nurse’s aid uniform, I always thought she looked like Uhura in the first Trek movie. Nichelle means a lot to the world and to me. I got my start in drawing for others in high school illustrating a fanzine called “Captain Uhura”.
Nichelle Nichol’s beauty, grace and power will live long and prosper in our hearts. Rest in Peace, among the stars.
