Printemps

This was the first story chronicling our artist’s residency in France. in the artistic and travel-confusion whirlwind of that wonderful journey, we forgot to post it. Catching up now!

We were staying in a chateau in a village in the Loir Valley about half an hour from the famous Chartres cathedral and only about an hour and a half from Paris. We’re honored to have been selected to be part of the community of amazing artists of the Atellierair Artist’s Residency — We’re already so inspired!

When we travel, Lisa often wants to consume as much of the surrounding world as possible. We hop from place to place, trying to cover more geographic territory. But this trip is about staying put, paying attention to the details, and soaking up the je ne sais quoi of slow travel. And, of course, welcome Spring, whenever she shows up!
