Family Meeting

When my parents died, I hated when people said they would always be there in spirit. The ache of their loss was so enormous, I couldn’t comprehend that anything would ever fill it. But over time, I’ve learned what those people meant. It’s not the same but it’s something. And like my mother used to say, “Something is better than nothing!”
